On 27 August 2026, experts from academia and industry will come together at the Biozentrum, University of Basel, for the hybrid seminar “Digital Endpoints Development: Overcoming Methodological Challenges in Neuroscience.”
Organised by the BBS – Basel Biometric Society, with the support of the Department of Biomedical Engineering at the University of Basel and RC2NB, the seminar will explore key methodological challenges associated with the development, validation and deployment of digital endpoints in healthcare and drug development.
Through presentations and case studies spanning Multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease and Huntington’s disease, statisticians, data scientists, clinicians and industry experts will discuss how digital measures can be translated into robust and meaningful endpoints for clinical research.
RC2NB is strongly represented in the programme, with Cristina Granziera, Tim Woelfle, Silvan Pless, Andrea Wiencierz and Jannis Müller contributing to the organisation and scientific programme alongside experts from academia and industry.
