MS Information Day 2026 – From Research to Practice

On Saturday, 14 February 2026, the MS Center Basel and the Research Center for Clinical Neuroimmunology and Neuroscience Basel (RC2NB) invite patients, families, and interested participants to the annual MS Information Day – From Research to Practice, taking place at the University Hospital Basel.

The program will highlight the latest developments in multiple sclerosis, including the new MS diagnostic criteria (McDonald 2024), the role of lifestyle, nutrition, and digital tools in MS care, as well as topics related to sexual health, bladder dysfunction, symptom management, and future therapeutic approaches.

In addition to the scientific and clinical talks (as outlined in the flyer), participants will have the opportunity to engage directly with physicians, researchers, and partners during the “Meet the Experts” exhibition. This interactive space allows for personal exchange and discussion across a broad range of MS-related topics and initiatives, including:

Information SMSG (Schweizerische Multiple Sklerose Gesellschaft), Swiss MS Registry, Hippotherapy, Bladder dysfunction, Multiscript Study, SMSC / Biomarker, MS and Pregnancy, Symptomatic therapy for MS, MS and nutrition, Immunology in MS, Neurostatus UHB, MRI, OCT, and the CLINNOVA study.

Practical information
The MS Information Day will take place on Saturday, 14 February 2026, from 10:00 to 14:15, at the Center for Teaching and Research (ZLF), University Hospital Basel.
